Ron has been designing and implementing performance management and financial systems for over 25 years, 9 of those with Deloitte as a Sr. Manager and prior to becoming an executive at Business Foundation was Senior Director, Office of Strategy at Hyperion Solution, (acquired by Oracle Corporation (NADQ: ORCL).

His clients have included GE, GM, The Department of Defense, Citigroup, British Telecom, GlaxoSmithKline, Morgan Stanley, and many others. They represent multiple industries, business sizes, and geographies.

Ron is one of the industry’s thought leaders and a leading practitioner of Corporate Performance Management. Ron has consulted in the area of Performance Management in North America and Europe as well as being guest lecturer at Ohio State University, Carleton University (Ottawa), and other institutions and professional events.

Since 1994 Simon has held several senior-level international roles in large global organizations including CSG, Adaytum, (acquired by Cognos NADQ: COGN), Hyperion Solutions, (acquired by Oracle Corporation NADQ: ORCL).

Through his extensive experience with 'C' Level executives in global organizations, he pioneered a framework for engaging Senior Executives around business performance and financial management in 2000 which he has since enhanced and extended into The Business Foundation methodology.

His passion for helping companies to visualize complex problems and quickly execute winning strategies around performance management manifests itself in the patent-pending methodology practiced by the team at Business Foundation.

He has used the methodology with dozens of Fortune 500 companies including British Telecom, AutoNation, General Motors and Newmont and has conducted strategic consultations to many different enterprise technology vendor management teams such as Oracle Corporation, Yahoo!, Business Objects, SAP, Cognos, Cisco Systems and i2.

Simon has frequently appeared as key note speaker for different industry events and functions across the globe and also regularly consulted with by the investment community in the area of Performance Management and Business Intelligence.

Robert Farland, Vice President Strategic Accounts

Robert has been a sales and marketing executive for over 30 years. He has been responsible for developing new and important business relationships in each company he has worked for, which includes, Cox Cable & Phoenix Technologies.

Previous to working with Business Foundation, Robert worked for Straightline Strategies in Los Angeles for 6 years, where he was responsible for setting up meetings and acquiring new business for his sales team with VP and C level executives for companies such as Sperry Rand, Electronic Arts, Apple Computer and many other top companies.

Robert has been trained in the win/win principles of business by Buckminster Fuller and has an excellent grasp on what it takes for a company to grow and prosper by aligning their executives with common goals and objectives for the success of the organization’s major projects.
